Advertisements for his Service Station were in the Trenton Times, starting in Feb 2, 1951. I looked as far as June 1, 1951 and they were still there. Made several copies from the microfilm reader at Trenton Library. Also have a photocopy of the gas station when it was owned by Horace J. Smith. This photo is from a book, Snug Harbor, Published in 1983 by Lucy Armstrong Shirmer. I was helped by the City Commissioner, Amy Mullins on May 26, 1998. I have been referred to the Trenton Historical Society, which is opened on Saturdays, 1 - 4 pm. It's on the corner of 3rd St. and St. Joseph's, down from the Post Office.[burkelbk (1).GED]
