The census shows Jackson as age 27, Male, White, working as a Farm Labore r. Fairfield Daily Journal, Sat, 28 Oct 1911: Jackson Ankrom, a well known resident of Jefferso n County, died suddenly last evening about 7 o'clock at a boarding house in Koala where he ha d been staying for the past few days while attending the Coop divorce trial. Age 71 years. Had spent the greater part of his life in and around Fairfield. Survived by two children, Claude of Oregon and Mrs Maude Smith, Vermilion, Kan., Two sister s and three brothers: Mrs Wm Coop and Mrs Henry Keltner of this city, Eli Ankrom of Moulton , Elias of Oregon and John of Oklahoma. The remains were brought to this city this afternoo n and the funeral will probably be tomorrow.3 Nov 1911, Lockbridge Hearald: Jackson Ankrom, 7 1, last evening died at a boarding house...survided by...Elias ankrom of Oregon.Burial is i n the Wright Cemetery
