Was wondering if anyone might have info on Rachel Elliott Church that married Thomas Summer s in Calhoun Co. around 1900-1903. Need parents name, where born etc. Rachel (Apr.21,1876-Jan .23,1923) Thomas (Nov.24,1872-Mar.5,1958). I've been to Rachel's grave in St. Paul cem. and Tom's in Mt. Zion. It looks like Rachel is b uried by her 1st husband, George Church. Rachel's children were Lewis(1892-1954), Andrew Jack son(1894-1973) Nellie(1897-1982) I'm not sure if there are any more for her. Rachel and Tom' s children were Fred(1905-1957) Thomas(1903-1979) my gfather, and I believe Jenny. I have a P earl too, but don't know if she was a Church or Summers. I also believe Rachel's parents wer e Anderson and Mary Elliot. The only facts I have come from my gmothers (Esther Hanby Summers )writing in a book my Dad inherited when she died in 1999. my Dad passed this book on to me t his past year. Yes, Nellie M. Church is the same one. Rachael Elliott Church Summers Wright, is the d/o And erson and Mary Elliott. She first married a George Church somewhere around 1890-1892. They ha d 5 children: Lewis Church (1892-1954), Andrew Jackson Church (1894-1973), Churl Elizabeth Ch urch, Nellie Mae Church ( 1897-1982), Pearl Church (1901-1979). I will ask my Dad to see if J ennie is still alive. He hasn't said anything about it lately. He lives in Parkersburg. The l ast I knew was that she was in a rest home and didn't know anyone. Rachael then married Thomas Franklin Summers Sr. (1872-1958). They had 3 children: Thomas Fr ank Summers (1903-1979), my grandfather, Fred Summers (1905-1957), Jennie Summers. Rachael divorced Thomas Summers and married a Cloyd Dwight Wright. They had no children. I do have a little more info on the Summers that I am putting together. it's been a slow pro cess, but I guess I am getting there.........

Everett (Bill) George Norman, 68, died Tuesday, May 30, 2000, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospit al.
He was the son of the late Oak Festus and Nellie Church Norman. He was a construction worke r and a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church and VFW Post 5959.
Surviving are nine sons, Timothy D. Norman, Dennis L. Norman and Kenneth G. Norman, all of Gr antsville, Everett Dorsie Norman of Huntington, Randall A. Norman of South Charleston, Everet t Steve Norman of Letart, Oakie Dewayne Norman of Big Bend, Donald Lee Norman of Trace Fork a nd Richard Norman of West Salem, Ohio; two daughters, Ola L. Robert G. Ankrom
40-year employee with pipeline company Robert G. Ankrom, 70, of Washington R.D.4, Amwell Town ship, died at 10:55 p.m. Tuesday, November 4, 1997, at home.
He was born May 18, 1927, in Jefferson Township, Greene County, a son of Charles Winfield an d Charlottie Phillips Ankrom.
Mr. Ankrom live most of his life in Washington and Greene counties and was a member of Jeffer son Baptist Church and a former member of Mt. Herman Baptist Church.
He was a 40-year member of Local 66 International Operating Engineers, a member of Waynesbur g Elks Lodge 757, Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 461 in Waynesburg, James Farrell American Legio n Post 330 and VFW Post 4793, both of Waynesburg, Masonic Lodge F&AM 153 and Syria Temple AAO NMS.
Mr. Ankrom was a veteran of World War II, having served with the U.S. Marines.
Working through the International Operating Engineers, he worked for various construction com panies. The majority of his time was with Pace Pipeline, Delmont, retiring after 40 years i n 1992.
His first wife, Helen Buckingham Ankrom, died April 26, 1982.
On June 12, 1986, he married Beatrice Smith Barnhart Ankrom, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Elizabeth Amos of Jackson, N.J.; three sons, Phillip S. Buckin gham of Langeloth, John R. Ankrom of Waynesburg and David G. Ankrom of Boyertown; three steps ons, Shirl Barnhart of Clarksville, Duncan and William Barnhart, both of Carmichaels; 13 gran dchildren, Cheryl DeAngelo, Kevin Amos, Nicholas, Nathan, Alex and Lyddia April Louise Ankrom, Tammie Moore, Eric Buckingham, Melissa, Rebecca, Matthew, Katie a nd Paige Barnhart; six great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Martha Whittington of Charleston , W.Va., and Dorothy McNeely of Jefferson.
