In 1849 living Benton - Hernando County and elected Cty Commissioner in 1849-1852, 1857, 1863. In Benton Nancy and him built log home and moved to Hancock Lake 1865 in order to be near daughter.

We were at Marion Institute for a couple of years together.  He fought in both theatres in WWII, suffering the loss of most of one hand.  He died as a young man from sarcoma of the mandible.
