[From DAR Lineage Book, volume 96, pg 107] Abraham Harrington (1758-1847) enlisted from Bristol, R.I., 1775, serving under Capt. Richard Bailey and Makjor Dyre in Rhode Island, and, 1778, was in Captain Eaton's company, Colonel Johnson's regiment, engaged in the battles of Newport and Sullivan's Expedition.  In 1846 he applied for a pension.  His claim was allowed.  He was born in Connecticut; he died in Shaftsbury, Vt. Sources:
