John & his family were in Dawson Co., GA in 1860, 1870 & 1880. Hewas a Justice of the Peace, performing many marriages. Most of the sons of John & Louisa moved to Erath Co., TX in the late1800's/early 1900's & settled near Bluff Dale. Each was given a farmby his Grandfather Glenn, fertile land along the Paluxy River.
