I, James Offutt, Of Ray County, in the State of Mssour i , d o make this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoki n g an y will heretofore made. The substance of this my last Will is as follows: 1st. I desire that after my death my funeral expense s a s w ell as all other just debts shall be paid and tha t afte r al l my property and effects of every kind, excep t as her einaf ter named, shall remain and continue in th e possessio n of m y wife Leannah Offutt, during her widowh ood, but i f she sho uld marry again, then my will is, tha t she shal l have 1/3 p art of said estate during her natur al life. Secondly. That my property and effects, both real and pe r s onal be disposed of as follows, to-wit: To the children of my son, James H. Offutt, deceased, I g i v e my tract of land near Camden known as a part of the b lu ff ton tract of land, and also $300,00 after the death o f m y w ife. To Gustavus Clements, I will and bequeath $100.00, it be i n g his full share in my estate. To my three grand-children, William and James Winsor, a n d E liza Loyd, formerly Eliza Winsor. $50.00 each and n o mo re. To William A. Carrol, I. will and bequeath my negro boy " T o bin" and no more. To Llttleton Offutt, I will and bequeath my negro boy "Da n i el" and that he have possession of him immediately aft e r m y death, and also I will to him my negro girl, Malind a , an d her increase, if any, and to have possession of h e r afte r the death of my wife. To the children of my son, Esli Offutt. deceased, I wil l a n d bequeath my negro boy, Major and also the sum of Tw o Hu nd red Dollars. To James Borthwick I will and bequeath my negro boy, Bay l o n and negro girl, Phillis and no more. To the children of Samuel Offutt,deceased, my grandchildr e n , I will and bequeath my negro boy, Isham and also th e tr ac t of land on where my son Samuel lived and died. I also will and direct that after the death of my wif e t h e tract of land on which I now live and also the trac t kn ow n as the Island Tract be sold and that the proceeds , aft e r the legacies herein named, and all just demands a nd exp en ses shall have been paid, the balance of the proc eeds th ere of, if any, shall be equally divided among th e childre n o f James H.
