Oliver was daughter of George W. and Parthenia Halliburton Oliver G.W. Oliver was born in VA and Parthenia in N.C. David B. Lawrence a Quaker Merchant was an early settler in Pulaski Co.History. Allen James Lawrence was a school teacher, and a Civil War soldier, serving in Co. G , 47th Regt.MO Militia, and discharged as a 2nd Lt. from Co A 48th Regt. Inf. Vols. Allen James Lawrence moved his family to Columbus, Cherokee Co. Kansas 1875. Thomas B. Lawrence Married Caroline Arvilla Colvin, 2 Oct. 1882, a school teacher and daughter of Hiram and Matilda Margret Hall Colvin. Hiram was a son of Lyman and Lousia Brown Colvin, natives of VT. Thomas B. Lawrence Jr. was born there 15 June 1884. Moved to Wichita, Sedgwick Co. Kansas 1885 where his next three children were born.
